VALENCIAN COMMUNITY INFORMATION, The hybrid art of Durome.

In a world where the lines between traditional and modern are often blurred, Durome "E. Romaguera" stands out as a pioneer of hybrid art. Born in Valencia in 1976, this visionary artist has found a way to combine the best of both worlds, and thanks to Radio Nacional de España and journalist Nacho Marimon, we can delve into his most recent exhibition.

The room of Grupo Portolito, a renowned restaurant group in Valencia, serves as the perfect setting for this exhibition. More than a simple gastronomic space, Portolito has proven to be a fervent defender of the arts, especially those Valencian artists who seek to break the mold. Located in the heart of Valencia, this place has become a meeting point for art and food lovers.

The DUROME exhibition is a journey through hybrid art. Upon approaching each work, visitors have the opportunity to scan QR codes that take them to a virtual reality world. Here, the characters portrayed in the paintings come to life through animations, immersing the viewer in stories full of intrigue and the revelation of mathematical codes.

This hybrid approach, combining traditional painting techniques with cutting-edge technology, redefines what we understand by "art." It is an experience that challenges, surprises and, above all, delights.

If you are in Valencia or plan to visit soon, I invite you not to miss this one-of-a-kind exhibition. It will be available until November 7, 2023 at Grupo Portolito, calle de la barcas nº13, Valencia 46002, Spain.
