Contemporary Colour-Based Painting Series by Eduardo Romaguera

JAZZ COLOURS

JAZZ COLOURS

Jazz Colours is a contemporary painting series by Eduardo Romaguera that explores colour as rhythm, improvisation, and emotional structure.
Rooted in the language of jazz—its syncopation, freedom, and intuitive flow—the series translates musical principles into visual compositions where colour acts as both melody and movement.

Each work functions as an autonomous piece while remaining part of a broader visual score. Chromatic tensions, fragmented urban references, and expressive gestures coexist in a dynamic balance between abstraction and figuration. The paintings do not seek narrative closure; instead, they invite the viewer into an open visual improvisation, where perception unfolds over time.

The series is characterized by its vibrant palette, layered surfaces, and a deliberate sense of immediacy. Romaguera approaches the canvas as a space of live action—allowing intuition, memory, and structure to interact freely—resulting in works that feel both spontaneous and rigorously composed.

Jazz Colours is conceived for collectors interested in contemporary painting that bridges emotional intensity and conceptual depth. The series includes works in small and medium formats, making it suitable for both private collections and curated environments.
